Hello, we
are Aitana and Beatriz, students of 4ºB Bilingual from” Clara Campoamor “Secondary
School in
La Solana. We are going to make some
questions to these two Polish teachers, Anna and Ela, who have come here for
one week to visit our school and other schools and landmarks in La Solana. Let´s
start with the questions!
Why did you come here?
Well, we
came here for a job shadowing activity
,it is a part of our project, Erasmus Project called “New Possibilities and New Opportunities” and
we just wanted to see how your teachers work and how you, students, are involved in the
class, in the classroom so we just wanted to see another educational system
in Spain.
Do you speak Spanish?
Ela:-Unfortunately not, but I´ve always wanted to learn Spanish so maybe one
day…
Anna: I speak Spanish : “adiós, gracias, mañana , perdona , ensalada”
Do your students study Spanish in the high
school were you work?
In some
high schools yes, but they have a choice, they can choose between:
French, Italian, Spanish or German.
Is Spain very different from Poland?
Yes a
little, well, Poland is greener I think,
we have a lot of forests and more
rivers, but here, well, your country is also beautiful, but it´s different.
Why do you teach English in Poland?
Difficult
question! When I was a teenager I liked listening to English songs and always I wanted to know what
they were about , so I decided to learn English and then my parents are also
teachers so I think it was my
destination to become a teacher.
How do you teach English?
I use a lot
of activities, a lot of methods and I
teach kids from seven to fourteen years
old, so I have to change the activities
depending on the age of my students.
What are your best experiences in Poland?
Experiences
in teaching?
Yes , in
teaching.
I think that maybe the fact that we are here. We can
compare our teaching in Spain and Poland, so, I think that it´s the best way to
compare our educational systems.
What differences are there between Polish high
school and Spanish high school?
Well, for
example we don´t have technology as a subject so it´s something new that we have
seen here in your school and I think the
number of students in the classroom is similar to Polish classes, maybe there
aren´t so many differences.
What is your favourite food in Spain?
My
favourite food in Spain is paella, tortilla, croquetas, ensalada and different
types of fish.
What is your favourite city in Spain?
Ela: For me, La Solana.
Anna: Me too. Barcelona, Tarragona ,Salou,
Cambrils, Santiago de Compostela, I was in Spain four times.
Could you tell us about your experience in
Spain?
I think
that people are very kind and polite and very open to other people. This is the
most important think when you visit another country and also the weather is
perfect for us, for example in Poland
nowadays it´s very cold, the landscape
and the food, I like every thing about Spain!
- What a
pity!
- The
interview is over.
-It was
very interesting. What is your opinion ,Trini?
- I think
it was very funny and different. The Polish teachers have very different lives.
-Yes , what
do you think, people?
Amazing!!!!
-We finish
this interview , thank you very much for being so kind and nice.
-Yes! Thank
you for listening to the radio of “
Clara Campoamor” High School.
-Goodbye, people!
-Bye, bye.
